Real Housewives

RHOC Season 10 Trailer is Here!

Glenn Rowley

The best gift each spring can give us is a new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and the original 'Wives are back for their landmark 10th season this June. The trailer was released this Tuesday and it promises a season full of the usual drama, laughs and 'woo-hoo's, all courtesy of Vicki Gunvalson of course. Joining the OG of the OC are veteran 'Wives Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow, last season's breakout star Shannon Beador and newbie MLB wife Meghan King Edmonds. Season 9's other new 'Wife, Lizzie Rovsek, has been reportedly self-demoted to Friend of the Housewives status.

The trailer starts with something heretofore unseen on the Housewives franchise: a Housewife getting baptized. As the strains of "Amazing Grace" begin to play, it's none other than Tamra Judge - OC's pot stirrer and resident bad girl - who's taking the spiritual plunge. At first, my brain has trouble comprehending what my eyes are seeing: is this real?? And then, the drama kicks in.

From accusations of Vicki's shady boyfriend Brooks faking cancer to Shannon and her husband David continuing to repair their fractured marriage issues from last season, the roller coaster of crazy doesn't seem to stop. Other highlights - and lowlights - include the cast trip to Tahiti, appearances by former Housewives Jeana Keough, Lynne Curtin and Tammy Knickerbocker and the trailer-ending visual of Vicki sobbing on the floor after receiving the heartbreaking news of her mother's sudden death. Newbie Meghan seems to spend a lot of screen time brawling with both Vicki and Shannon, while being coined Tamra's 15-inch taller "mini-me"...

Let us know what you think of the trailer in the comments and get ready for the Season 10 premiere on June 8.

Favorite line: "I'm being nailed to the cross like Jesus was..." - Vicki Gunvalson, Woo-Hoo Queen, lovably unfiltered as ever. I literally laughed out loud.
